Volunteering is a way to stay involved in your child's Cooper experience and also support school programs.
Book Fair (Dec 2019)—Set up, break down and sell books
Clinic Volunteer (October 2019) —Volunteers assist in clinic and staff vision / hearing screening
Cooper SpiritWear—Sell Cooper SpiritWear at school events and fill orders throughout the year
Eighth Grade Party (Jun 2020)—Volunteers assist in planning and on day of party
Hospitality Committee Co-Chair- Assist current chair with organizing parent network coffees and PTO meeting refreshments
Hospitality Committee–Assist with refreshments for parent networking coffees (Cooper Coffee) and two PTO meetings.
Hospitality / Parent Network Coffee (Oct 2019) – Host a PTO coffee in your home (With assistance from Hospitality Committee)
Hospitality/ Parent Network Coffee (May 2020) – Host a PTO coffee in your home (With assistance from Hospitality Committee)
Picture Day (Oct 2019)—Assist with picture day
Service Learning Fair (October 2019) Assist committee chair in planning and also on day of event. Event itself: 8th grade Civics students rotate through stations to learn about options for completing their county-required volunteer hours.
Spelling Bee —Assist committee chairs with this schoolwide event
Staff Appreciation —Assist with food prep, set up and clean up for 4 staff appreciation meals throughout the year
Website Parent Resources—Assist in creating web content and updating the PTO website
World Heritage Night (March 2020) —Volunteers assist with set up and break down on event day
