Many thanks to the parent volunteers who helped set up, staff, and break down this year’s book fair, which is also a major fundraiser for the school library.
This year’s sales were robust. We made $7300 in book fair items earning 25% profit ($1800 for the library). We also sold about 4850 ($1750) candy canes and almost 500 ($300) bags of jolly ranchers for a profit of about $2050 for the courtyard garden.

New Chair Needed
PLEASE NOTE: We are still looking for a new chair for the book fair committee! For those who are interested in plugging in but don’t have a lot of time, this might be the answer for you. It’s a once-a-year commitment, with simple responsibilities, including scheduling parent volunteers through Sign-Up Genius, helping Ms. Psaltis (the librarian) set up and break down the book fair, and troubleshooting here and there.
